Confused

Buford can't seem to decide which type of ears he would like to have. Most of the time when we are inside they are down but when I walk him outside they both stand straight up (he looks like a rabbit). This picture was taken right after a long walk so I guess he was in some sort of transition mode. He does often walk around with one up and one down. I think it looks pretty funny. Does anyone else's dog do this?

Jakes ears dont do this, well not as of yet. My previous dog, Max, an Akita did this as a puppy. Eventually both ears stood up in time. Maybe Buford has Dane in him? I think its a riot!

That's so cute with the ears! Rocco's ears are both down. He can perk them up a bit, but they are still flopped over.

I am wondering if your Mastador is really a lab/mastiff mix since neither of those breeds have the ability to lift their ears?

His dad was a purebred english mastiff and 180 lbs. but his mom may have been a lab mixed with something since she was a little smaller than a typical lab. Either way he is a good looking dog and we don't really care.

My dog is a mastador and she does the exact same thing with her ears and when she running around like a crazy girl the lay flat back against her head. When she is relaxing they are both flopped down. It's so cute! I just love it.
